PHOENIX ROD & GUN
The Phoenix Rod & Gun Club Practical Division is hosting a 22lr/PCC carbine match.
- When: Jan 31,2009, range hot at 0900
- Where: PR&G Practical range
- Who: open to the public
- Why: because you asked for it
- What: any semiauto/lever/bolt action with sight sysytem of choice.
This isn't a tactical or precision match.
Stages will be of the simple practical variety, consisting
of paper & steel targets with light to medium physical activity.
Scoring system; to be determined.
Safety - all safety protocols will be followed.
Eye & ear protection is mandatory for shooters and spectators in the bays.
Equipment:
- Any safe & functional 22lr/pistol caliber carbine.
- Slings/carry straps are not mandatory but highly recommended.
- Safety chamber flags are required for those of you who want to sling-up and not haul a case
from stage to stage.
- You will not need a handgun for this match.
Registration;
opens at 0800
close at 0900, be signed up before then.
Shooters meeting
immediately following.
Fee:
$10 for first gun, $5 for any others.

As of January 1st, "we will no longer put on the Stock gun
match that follows the Hosemasters".
